How Do I Book a Party?
Booking a party at Rainbow Playspace is quick and hassle-free! You can call, email, or text us to start the booking process. A deposit is required to reserve your preferred time slot at either of our locations. Whether you're planning a birthday party or special event, our team is here to help make it simple and fun!
Why Is Party More Affordable, Yet the Space Is Much Bigger Than Other Venues?
At Rainbow Playspace, we believe that more space shouldn't mean a higher price tag. Many parents are surprised to discover that our party packages are not only more affordable than other venues, but also offer one of the largest playspace in the area. We built with families in mind. We aim to be an affordable, joyful space for local parents who want to celebrate milestones without breaking the bank.
How Much Deposit Is Required to Book a Party?
To reserve a party, a non-refundable deposit is required to secure your time slot.
Private Party: $400 Non-refundable deposit
Non-Private: $200 Non-refundable deposit
What Are the Sock Requirements for Birthday Parties?
At Rainbow Playspace, safety and cleanliness are our top priorities. To ensure a fun and hygienic experience for everyone, we have a strict sock policy in place for everyone.
🧦 Socks Are Required for All Guests
Every person—children and adults—must wear socks inside the play areas. No shoes or bare feet are allowed. There are no exceptions.
🧒 Rainbow Socks are highly recommended for both children and adults
Our socks are crafted for comfort and safety, featuring premium materials and non-slip soles to prevent slips and falls. Perfect for active kids, they offer long-lasting quality and reliable grip on any surface.
👟 Shoes, bare feet, heels
Shoes, bare feet, and high heels are strictly prohibited in the playspace—no exceptions.
Can I Bring My Own Decorations for the Party?
Party decoration rules vary by location. In our Bensonhurst location, we currently do not allow party hosts to bring their own decorations, as we provide themed package. However, at our Sheepshead Bay location, party hosts are welcome to bring their own decorations to personalize their celebration. Please keep in mind that all decorations must be safe, easy to clean up, and approved in advance. Contact us to learn more about location-specific policies and how to plan the perfect party!
Is There Staff Available To Help With Party Room Setup?
Yes, we do! Our dedicated staff is available to assist with party room setup, including arranging tables and chairs, assisting with decorations set up, and ensuring everything is ready for your event. Let us take care of the details so you can enjoy a stress-free celebration. Please Note: The Bensonhurst location does not allow party hosts to bring their own decorations.
Do You Mandate a Service Charge for Parties?
No, we do NOT add a service charge for parties at Rainbow Playspace.
We believe in clear, upfront pricing with no hidden fees. When you book a party with us, the price you see is the price you pay—no surprise service fees or unexpected add-ons.
However NYC sales tax of 8.875% is required. We do not add a mandatory service charge like many other venues. We recommend 10% to 18% in gratuity in appreciation of the exceptional service our team provides.
Do You Recommend Touring the Space Before Booking My Child’s Special Day?
Yes, we recommend scheduling a tour with us before booking your child’s party. Many Happy Hosts Book Without Touring — And Are Absolutely Delighted!

What Payment Methods Do You Accept For Party?
we currently accept only Zelle or cash for party bookings and payments. To secure your reservation, a deposit is required and must be paid using one of these two methods. We do not accept credit cards, checks, or other payment apps at this time. This policy helps us streamline the booking process and keep our prices affordable. If you have questions about payment or how to book your party at our Bensonhurst or Sheepshead Bay location, feel free to contact us!
Can I Bring My Own Chairs and Tables?
For the safety, cleanliness, and comfort of all guests, outside furniture is not allowed. We kindly ask that you do not bring personal chairs, tables, cooler, or other furnishings to the party event.
Can I Host My Own Party Without a Reservation?
All parties require a reservation to ensure we provide the best experience for you and your guests. Hosting a party without booking in advance is not allowed. Reservations help us manage space, staffing, and safety while offering personalized service and setup. Walk-in celebrations or unreserved gatherings are not permitted. To secure your preferred date and time, we recommend booking early. Contact us today to learn about party packages and availability at our Bensonhurst or Sheepshead Bay locations!
When Do I Need to Finalize Everything for My Event?
All party details must be finalized at least 5 days before your event. This includes your guest count, food options, decoration preferences (if allowed at your location), and any special requests. Finalizing early helps us prepare your setup, staffing, and supplies to create the perfect party experience. Need help planning or have last-minute questions? When Do I Make the Final Payment for My Party?
Final payment is due 3 days before your scheduled party. This allows us to confirm all arrangements and ensure your event runs smoothly. We accept Zelle or cash only for all party payments—no credit cards or checks. Making your final payment on time helps us secure your booking and provide the best possible service. Please note: A $50 late fee will be applied if the final payment is not received by the deadline.

Do We Need Socks to Enter?
To ensure a clean, safe, and hygienic environment for all our guests, everyone—adults and children—is required to wear socks at Rainbow Playspace. We highly recommend our non-slippery Rainbow Socks. If you forget your socks, don’t worry—Rainbow Playspace Socks are available for purchase at the front desk.

Is There a Charge for Adults at Rainbow Playspace?
At Rainbow Playspace, one adult enters free with each paid child admission. If additional adults wish to join, there is a $5 fee per extra adult.
Why Are The Offerings Different At Each Rainbow Playspace Location?
Both of our locations are unique in layout and size, which allows us to offer different play experiences at each one.
We design each space to make the most of what it offers—whether it’s a cozy, intimate playspace or a larger setup with arcade games and more variety. This way, families can enjoy something special no matter which location they visit!
Can I Bring Outside Food or Cake to Rainbow Playspace Without a Party Reservation?
Unfortunately, outside food, drinks, or cake are not allowed at Rainbow Playspace without a reserved party package.
To ensure a clean and safe environment for all guests, we ask that you do not bring any outside items unless you have booked a party with us.

What Are The Requirements To Enter The Playspace?
👶 Age: Our playspace is designed for children ages 0–10 years old.
🧦 Socks Requirement: Children and adults must wear socks.
👨👩👧👦 Supervision: Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
📝 Waiver: A signed waiver is required before entry (can be completed in-person or online).
What Payment Methods Do You Accept?
We accept Zelle, Cash, Mastercard, Visa, Discover, and Debit Cards for all purchases. Please note, there is a $10 minimum required for any card transactions. We do NOT accept American Express or checks.
Do You Have a Parking Lot?
Neither of our Rainbow Playspace locations—Bensonhurst and Sheepshead Bay—offer on-site parking lots. However, both locations have street and meter parking available nearby for your convenience.
We Have Vouchers From Different Rainbow Locations—Can We Use Them?
Please note: Vouchers are only valid at the location where they were purchased or issued.
Rainbow Playspace is independently owned and operated, so vouchers from other Rainbow locations may not be accepted here.
However, we’re happy to take a look! If you have an admission voucher, feel free to contact us directly or email us for confirmation.
Do You Offer Wi-Fi for Customers?
We provides free Wi-Fi for all our customers at both our Bensonhurst and Sheepshead Bay locations. Stay connected while your little ones enjoy safe, fun playtime. Do You Sell Nut Products or Have Nut-Free Policies?
We do not sell any nut products at Rainbow Playspace to help keep our environment safe. However, please note that we cannot guarantee other customers won’t bring nuts into the facility. If your child has severe nut allergies, we recommend taking extra precautions when visiting. Your child’s safety is our priority, and we appreciate your understanding and cooperation in maintaining a safe and inclusive playspace for everyone.
